We have largest selection of micro cells (watch batteries) in greater Vancouver.  Batteries are often available in multiple formats, each designed to give maximum performance for a specific application.

Let us know what you are using the batteries in and we will be able to provide you with the longest life battery.  If your instance you use the chronometer on your watch, selecting the right battery can add 12-months to the life of each battery.

Remember when dealing with batteries, size isn't the only thing that counts.

Rechargeable Micro Cells

Rechargeable micro cells must be match to their application as well as their positive/negative contact alignment.  Please bring in or send us a picture of your current battery and we will match it to the correct replacement.

If you are removing the battery yourself be very careful to not the location of the contact points and do not bend any of the contact arms on the battery.

Many of the rechargeable micro cells are designed for extremely low drain.  Do not connect the batteries to a volt meter as it may damage the cells.  Also batteries should only be handled with static resistant tweezers.
  
      
 
Battery Notations

LR - Alkaline chemistry 1.5V.  While attractive for their lower price, alkaline batteries drain very quickly compared to Silver Oxide, often lasting only 20% as long.

SR - Silver Oxide chemistry 1.55V

SR ending in:
W - High drain Potassium hydroxide chemistry

SW - Low drain Sodium hydroxide chemistry

CR - Lithium Manganese Dioxide chemistry 3V

BR - Lithium Carbon 3V Monofluoride chemistry.  BR batteries perform better in extreme temperatures (below  –20 °C and  above 70 °C). Although they have a lower capacity making the CR version more popular for most applications.

Rechargeable Micro Cells.
It's very important to replace the battery designed for your charging system with the same type.  Using a rechargeable micro cell in place of a non-rechargeable micro cell, or not using the correct chemistry is very DANGEROUS.


CLT - Rechargeable Cobalt Titanium Lithium 2.3V

ML - Rechargeable Lithium Manganese Dioxide 3V

MT - Rechargeable Manganese Titanium Lithium 1.5V

VL - Rechargeable Lithium Ion chemistry 3V

LIR - Rechargeable Lithium Ion chemistry 3.6V and requires a protection circuit.
